BARNARD - Chris Barnard, 27, a resident of Albuquerque for 24 years, passed away on Sunday.  He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Barnard, Albuquerque; three sisters, Christine Dearholt, Catherine Venaglia, and Marjorie Ann Barnard, all of Albuquerque; one brother, Matthew Barnard, Albuquerque; and his grandmother, Mamie Thompson, Amarillo, Texas.  He was a member of Sandia Baptist Church and was a 1971 graduate of Manzano High School.  Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne, 1100 Coal SE, with Rev. Alton B. Green, officiating. Pall-bearers will be Robert Davis, Gary Dell, Frank Venaglia, Joe D. Paul, Bill Paul, Wes Malone, and Michael Shortencarrier. Interment will take place in Sandia Memory Gardens.  The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Cancer Research Center, c/o Dr. John Saiki, 900 Camino De Salud NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106
