Gallegos, Marcella, "Marcy" Marcella Gallegos, age 61 of Albuquerque, passed in peace on Sunday, March 8, 2015. She is survived by her life partner, Robert Farris; her children, Lisa Torrez and husband, Simon, Mike Gallegos; grandchildren, Michael Gallegos Jr, Simon Torrez Jr, Sheyenne Torrez, Adam Gallegos, Xavier Torrez; her brother, Ernest Gallegos; her sisters, Terri Hester and husband, Shawn and Connie Gallegos and husband, Danny and she was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents, Samuel and Della Gallegos and her sister, Carla Salazar and her nieces, Michelle and Dominique. Marcy was a loving mother, sister, aunt, friend and confidant to many and she will be dearly missed by all. She was an active member of the National Federation of the Blind for many years. Marcy was a longtime member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, March 12, 2015, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 13, 2015, 9:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Road NE. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
