Edward Neff

Edward "Eddie" Vann Neff, also known as Gordo, age 61, passed away on August 19, 2015 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on October 20, 1953 to the late Edward J. and Francine (Irving) Neff in Albuquerque, NM. He was a member of the St. John's Cathedral Episcopal Church and was a devout Christian. Eddie attended Albuquerque Public Schools, graduating from Manzano High School in 1971. He attended the University of New Mexico, The University of Albuquerque, and Utah State University studying forestry and range management. Eddie (Gordo) spent the years of his life traveling the mesas, meadows and rivers of New Mexico and Colorado. His heart was most content in the Mountains of Creede and always with a loyal dog by his side. Eddie will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived and forever remembered by his sister and brother in law, Sindle Neff and Christopher Sandoval of Pena Blanca, NM; aunts, Shirley Irving Fisher of Cherry Hill, NJ and Barbara Neff of Albuquerque, NM; as well as many cousins and friends. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the St. John's Cathedral Episcopal Church in Albuquerque, NM at 318 Silver SW. Thank you for posting this.  I am concerned about what caused his early passing. Sounds like a wonderful life being outdoors in beautiful New Mexico.
